The Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTDI) is comprised of five sub-indexes which are further divided into 17 pillars. These sub-indexes are Enabling Environment (pillars 1-5), Travel and Tourism Policy and Enabling Conditions (pillars 6-8), Infrastructure (pillars 9-11), Travel and Tourism Demand Drivers (pillars 12-14), and Travel and tourism sustainability (pillars 15-17). However, these five sub-indexes are not used for the calculation of the index but only for classification and presentation.
