The “Pakistan Tourism Profile, 2024” is based on the Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTDI) Framework.[42] The framework is comprised of five dimensions, which are further divided into 17 pillars.[43] 102 individual indicators are distributed among these 17 pillars.
These dimensions are Enabling Environment (pillars 1-5), Travel & Tourism policy and Enabling Conditions (pillars 6-8), Infrastructure and Services (pillars 9-11), Travel & Tourism Resources (pillars 12-14), Travel & Tourism Sustainability Pillars 15-17).[44] However, these five dimensions are not used to calculate the index but only for the classification and presentation.
