Diego Renda Appointed Director of Training Development at LQA
Diego Renda has stepped into a new leadership role as Director of Training Development at LQA, effective January 2026, marking an important milestone in a career spanning nearly 15 years with the organisation.
In his new position, Renda will lead the strategic development and evolution of LQA’s global training programmes, focusing on capability building, service excellence, and performance improvement across hospitality and service-driven organisations worldwide. His appointment reflects LQA’s continued investment in learning, development and long-term client value.
Renda previously served as Head of Training at LQA, a role he held for over four years, where he was responsible for shaping training frameworks, mentoring trainers, and supporting clients through tailored development initiatives. Alongside this, he spent close to a decade as a Senior Trainer, delivering impactful training solutions across diverse markets and operational environments.
Earlier in his LQA career, Renda held roles including Client Success Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant, working closely with hospitality brands on quality assurance, auditing, operational improvement and customer experience strategy. His progression through consulting, client management and training leadership has given him a comprehensive understanding of both operational realities and strategic development needs.
Before joining LQA, Renda worked with COMO Hotels and Resorts as Groups Manager in London, where he gained hands-on experience in luxury hospitality operations and guest-facing services.
With strong expertise in training development, consulting, leadership, quality assurance and food and beverage operations, Diego Renda’s appointment strengthens LQA’s capability to support organisations in delivering consistent, high-quality guest experiences through people development.
