Millennium Hotels and Resorts has appointed Olivier Badard as Chief Executive Officer of Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA, effective September 14, 2026.
Based in Dubai, Badard brings extensive international leadership experience across hospitality, infrastructure, transportation, aerospace, and technology, with a career spanning Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
Alongside his new role, Badard has served as Managing Director at Majugani Development in Dubai since September 2012, focusing on infrastructure and services. In September 2026, he also took on the role of Chief Development Officer at Lakhraim Group in Dubai.
Prior to his appointment at Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Badard served as Senior Advisor at Armada Holding in Riyadh from September 2022 to August 2026.
He previously spent more than six years with RATP Dev, serving as CEO Asia Pacific, Middle East & North Africa from August 2015 to October 2021. Based in Dubai, his role focused on public transport infrastructure and operations.
Earlier in his career, Badard held senior positions with Thales, including President, Middle East & Western Asia, from 2008 to 2012. He also spent more than eight years with Thales Alenia Space, serving as Senior Vice President in Cannes and Vice President North America, Space Division, based in Washington.
Badard began his professional career at Alcatel, where he held various positions before becoming Vice President, a role he held from 1992 to 2000 across France and the United States.
With a diverse senior leadership background spanning multiple industries and international markets, Badard now takes on the leadership of Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA.
