The Gwadar Development Authority has planned four mega tourism projects, Food Street, Amusement Theme Park, Water Sports, and a GDA Club Complex under the Gwadar Smart Port City Master Plan to promote a modern tourism economy through public-private partnerships.
Officials said the West Bay area has been designated for recreational and commercial activities, offering scenic coastal views. Investors will be facilitated through land provision, long-term arrangements, and fast-track approvals under a single-window system to encourage private participation.
The projects aim to boost tourism, generate employment, and showcase local culture, history, and marine life. Facilities such as water sports, theme rides, and leisure complexes are expected to attract both domestic and international tourists, strengthening Gwadar’s role as a regional tourism destination.
