Ayman Rasheed Promoted to Cluster General Manager Overseeing Mövenpick Hotel Amman and Mövenpick Hotel Al Zaytoon Baghdad
Mr. Ayman Rasheed has been promoted to Cluster General Manager, now overseeing both Mövenpick Hotel Amman and Mövenpick Hotel Al Zaytoon Baghdad, effective January 2026.
The appointment expands his leadership responsibilities within Accor, where he has served as General Manager of Mövenpick Hotel Amman since 2019. Under his tenure, the property strengthened its positioning within the Jordanian capital’s five-star hospitality segment, maintaining operational performance and brand standards within a competitive market.
In his new cluster role, Rasheed will oversee operations across both Jordan and Iraq, managing cross-border leadership alignment, commercial strategy and operational execution across the two properties.
Beyond hotel operations, Rasheed holds several prominent board and advisory positions. He serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Culinary Art section at Al Ahliyya Amman University, contributing to hospitality and culinary education development. He is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at The Jordanian Dairy Company / Al Maha, and a Board Member of Basmat Ataa’ Charitable Organization, a non-profit focused on humanitarian assistance.
Earlier in his career, Rasheed held senior leadership roles with IHG Hotels & Resorts, including General Manager of Holiday Inn Amman and executive engineering and regional risk management positions across Jordan and Palestine.
With extensive experience spanning hotel management, engineering leadership and board-level governance, Ayman Rasheed’s promotion to Cluster General Manager reflects Accor’s continued emphasis on experienced regional leadership to drive operational excellence across key Middle Eastern markets.
