Caroline Thissen Appointed Associate Vice President Commercial, Middle East, Africa & Southeast Asia Pacific at Radisson Hotel Group
Caroline Thissen has stepped into the role of Associate Vice President Commercial, Middle East, Africa & Southeast Asia Pacific at Radisson Hotel Group, effective February 2026.
Based in Dubai, Thissen assumes expanded regional commercial leadership responsibility following more than 12 years with the group. Her appointment reflects a steady progression through senior revenue and sales optimisation roles across the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia Pacific.
Most recently, she served as Senior Area Director of Sales & Revenue Optimization for the region, where she led integrated commercial strategies across diverse markets. Prior to that, she held successive leadership roles including Area Senior Director Sales & Revenue Optimization and Area Director Revenue Optimization, overseeing performance strategy across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
Earlier in her tenure, she was responsible for revenue optimisation across key GCC and regional markets including the UAE, Jordan, Egypt and Oman, supporting hotel teams in segmentation strategy, pricing optimisation and market-share growth initiatives from the Dubai Area Support Office.
Before returning to Radisson in 2014, Thissen held revenue leadership roles with De Vere Group and previously built her early career within Radisson properties in the United Kingdom, progressing from reservations and meetings & events roles into revenue management positions.
With over two decades of experience in commercial strategy, revenue management and regional portfolio oversight, Caroline Thissen’s elevation to Associate Vice President Commercial underscores Radisson Hotel Group’s continued focus on integrated commercial leadership across high-growth markets.
