Daniel Baranowski has taken on a new role as District Director Poland South at Radisson Hotel Group, effective January 2026. In this position, he will oversee property operations across Radisson Blu Krakow, Park Inn Krakow, Radisson RED Krakow, and Radisson Blu Wroclaw, in addition to his ongoing responsibilities as Cluster General Manager.
Based in Central and Eastern Europe, Baranowski brings nearly two decades of international hospitality leadership experience, with a strong track record in large-scale hotel operations, multi-property management, renovations, and performance improvement across Europe and North America.
Alongside his new district-level role, Baranowski continues to serve as Cluster General Manager at Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & SPA Hotel and Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel in Riga, Latvia, a position he has held since May 2024. In this role, he oversees two flagship properties in the Latvian capital, leading operational strategy, commercial performance, and guest experience.
Previously, he was General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva in Vilnius, Lithuania, from February 2020 to May 2024. The 456-room flagship hotel features four food and beverage outlets, including a sky bar and Italian restaurant concept, along with 3,800 square metres of meeting and event space comprising 17 meeting rooms with capacity for up to 1,500 delegates. During his tenure, he led the hotel’s overall operations, positioning it as a leading business and events destination in the country.
From September 2017 to February 2020, Baranowski served as General Manager at Park Inn by Radisson Meriton Conference & Spa Hotel in Tallinn, Estonia, the largest hotel in the country. Earlier, he held the role of Director of Operations at Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest and Park Inn by Radisson Bucharest Hotel & Residence. He was responsible for more than 300 full-time employees across all operational departments and was closely involved in the planning and execution of the Park Inn renovation in collaboration with ownership and contractors.
Before joining Radisson Hotel Group, Baranowski served as Director of Operations at Moscow Marriott Royal Aurora, overseeing a 231-room city-centre property with multiple dining outlets and a workforce of approximately 260 employees. He also held senior operational roles at Hilton Prague as Operations Manager in charge of Food & Beverage and Front Office, and earlier as Food & Beverage Manager at Hilton Warsaw Hotel & Convention Centre.
He began his international hospitality career with Hilton Worldwide’s Elevator Graduate Programme, gaining foundational experience across San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Toronto, Canada, before progressing through operational leadership roles in North America and Europe.
Daniel Baranowski’s appointment underscores Radisson Hotel Group’s continued focus on strengthening regional leadership and operational excellence across key European markets.
