David Mammina Appointed Director, Global Learning (Luxury & Lifestyle Brands) at Hilton
David Mammina has taken on a new role as Director, Global Learning (Luxury & Lifestyle Brands) at Hilton, effective February 2026. Based in McLean, Virginia, Mammina will lead global learning strategies for Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio, supporting talent development, leadership capability and service excellence across the brand collection.
Mammina brings over seven years of progressive experience with Hilton, spanning property-level, regional and corporate leadership roles. Prior to this appointment, he served as Director, Talent & Leadership Development, Americas, where he was responsible for talent strategy, workforce planning and leadership development across managed hotels in North America, South America and French Polynesia.
Earlier, he held the role of Regional Human Resources Director, Luxury, overseeing HR strategy for Hilton’s U.S. luxury portfolio, following his position as Human Resources Director at Hilton Boston Logan Airport. His experience at Hilton also includes roles as Assistant Director of Human Resources and Director of Training & Quality at Conrad Washington DC, where he focused on service culture, training frameworks and operational quality.
Before joining Hilton, Mammina built a strong foundation in human resources and hospitality operations with Loews Hotels as Human Resources Manager at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, and with Waldorf Astoria New York, where he progressed through the Human Resources Management Trainee programme to Human Resources Manager. His early career included operational roles in food and beverage and culinary training, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of hotel operations.
With a career that blends learning and development, HR strategy and luxury hospitality operations, David Mammina’s appointment reflects Hilton’s continued focus on people development as a driver of brand performance and guest experience across its luxury and lifestyle brands.
