Helena Vehovec has been appointed Director of the Selection Department at Aminess Hotels & Resorts, effective January 2026, based in Novigrad, Istria, Croatia. In her new role, she will lead talent acquisition and selection strategies for the group, supporting its growth and operational excellence across Croatia’s leading hospitality properties.
Vehovec brings over two decades of experience in human resources and talent acquisition within the hospitality and tourism sector. She joins Aminess Hotels & Resorts from Liburnia Hotels & Villas, where she served as Director of Talent Acquisition, leading recruitment and talent development initiatives. Prior to that, she held key HR leadership roles with Kempinski Hotels across Austria, Germany, Slovenia, and Croatia, and has also served as Regional Director of Talent Acquisition & Recruitment at Riv Consulting, supporting luxury cruise lines, hotels, and wellness brands across Europe.
Her earlier career includes strategic HR roles at Grand Koper, Invermore Shipping, and Costa Crociere, building a strong foundation in HR strategy, recruitment, and organizational development across the hospitality and cruise industries.
