Natalie Demol Belondrade Appointed Senior Vice President Legal at Kempinski Hotels
Natalie Demol Belondrade has been appointed Senior Vice President Legal at Kempinski Hotels, bringing more than two decades of international legal, finance and hospitality-sector experience across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East.
Belondrade joins Kempinski from Katara Hospitality, where she served as Director Legal – Europe and Americas, having previously held the position of Legal Manager for the same regions. In these roles, she oversaw complex cross-border legal operations, governance frameworks and strategic transactions across a global hotel ownership portfolio.
She also worked as Senior Consultant with Accor, further strengthening her advisory experience within the international hotel sector.
Earlier, Belondrade spent nearly five years with Oetker Collection, where she served as General Counsel, overseeing legal matters for multiple luxury properties worldwide, advising senior leadership including the CFO and COO, and supporting crisis-management initiatives. She additionally held the role of Assistant Senior Vice President Operations and Sales & Marketing, acting as deputy to the COO and contributing to strategic development planning and owner relations.
Prior to her hospitality leadership career, Belondrade built extensive experience in international finance law. She served as Senior Associate at Clifford Chance, specialising in high-value acquisition finance, asset finance and project finance transactions across sectors including aviation, shipping, energy and hospitality. She previously held finance-law positions at Orrick Herrington Sutcliffe and Watson Farley & Williams, focusing on international shipping and structured finance matters.
She holds an MBA from HEC Paris, where she served as class president and was nominated for a leadership award.
Her appointment reinforces Kempinski’s continued focus on strengthening global legal strategy, governance and institutional leadership as the group advances its international growth ambitions.
