Huda Albasaitah has been appointed Cluster Director of Human Resources at InterContinental Abu Dhabi, effective December 2025. In her new role, she will lead the people strategy, talent development, and organizational effectiveness across the cluster, supporting operational excellence and culture-driven performance within the IHG portfolio in the UAE capital.
Albasaitah brings over 15 years of progressive human resources leadership experience across luxury hospitality, healthcare, and multinational environments in the Middle East. She joins InterContinental Abu Dhabi from JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, where she served as Director of Human Resources, overseeing HR strategy, workforce planning, legal compliance, payroll administration, and pre-opening initiatives for one of Qatar’s flagship luxury hotels.
Prior to this, she held the role of Assistant Director of Human Resources at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, following an extensive tenure with St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Jordan, where she progressed from Human Resources Manager to Assistant Director of Human Resources. Her career reflects a strong foundation in compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, workforce planning, culture transformation, and leadership development.
Earlier in her career, Albasaitah worked with MS Pharma as Senior HR Section Head and began her hospitality journey with Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, holding multiple roles across HR operations and learning & development in Petra, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and Jordan—building deep expertise in training, compliance, and people development.
