Ramsey Saarany has stepped into the role of Cluster General Manager – Ras Al Khaimah at Minor Hotels, effective January 2026. In this expanded leadership position, he will oversee Minor Hotels’ growing portfolio in Ras Al Khaimah, strengthening operational alignment, performance, and guest experience across the emirate.
Based in Ras Al Khaimah, Saarany brings more than two decades of luxury hospitality experience across the Middle East, with a strong background in resort operations, pre-opening leadership, and multi-departmental management within internationally renowned hotel brands.
Alongside his new cluster responsibilities, Saarany continues as General Manager of Anantara Mina Ras Al Khaimah Resort, a role he has held since August 2023. He has been instrumental in establishing the resort’s market positioning, operational standards, and service culture in one of the UAE’s fastest-growing leisure destinations.
Prior to this, he served as General Manager of Alwadi Hotel Doha – MGallery Collection from January 2022 to August 2023, where he led overall hotel operations in Qatar’s competitive luxury market, focusing on brand alignment, guest satisfaction, and commercial performance.
Earlier in his career, Saarany spent nearly five years at Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, holding senior leadership roles including Hotel Manager (February 2019 to January 2022) and Director of Operations (June 2017 to February 2019). During this period, he oversaw complex resort operations, large-scale teams, and premium guest experiences within one of Dubai’s landmark luxury resorts.
Before that, he was part of the pre-opening executive team at Sofitel Dubai Downtown, initially serving as Director of Rooms from August 2013 to December 2015, followed by Executive Assistant Manager until June 2017. The 350-room, five-star luxury hotel included 76 suites, and his responsibilities covered the full development, launch, and stabilization of the Rooms Division, Spa, and Recreation facilities.
Saarany began his hospitality career with Jumeirah Group, starting as a Management Trainee at Burj Al Arab, and later progressing through operational roles at Mina A’Salam Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah Resort, where he spent nearly seven years gaining foundational experience in luxury hotel operations.
