Subin Dharman Appointed General Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Taipei
Dharman brings extensive international luxury hospitality experience, with a career spanning leadership roles across Asia, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. Prior to this appointment, he served as General Manager at W Bali – Seminyak, while also holding senior leadership positions with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company across Indonesia and other international destinations.
He previously served as General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Bali, and The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, overseeing operations at some of the brand’s flagship luxury properties in the region. Earlier, he held the role of Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta Mega Kuningan and Executive Assistant Manager positions at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, and The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.
Dharman also held key operational leadership roles with Hotel Missoni Kuwait, where he served as Acting General Manager during a transitional period and played a significant role in the hotel’s pre-opening and operational development as Director of Food and Beverage. His earlier career includes leadership positions with Radisson Blu, Sheraton Bahrain, and Le Méridien properties in India, where he built a strong foundation in food and beverage operations and luxury guest experiences.
His appointment reflects Mandarin Oriental’s continued focus on experienced global leadership to strengthen its luxury hospitality presence in Asia.
