Yvonne Khoo has been appointed as Director of Operations at The Ritz-Carlton, Bali. With more than two decades of hospitality experience across Malaysia, China, and the wider Asia-Pacific region, she brings extensive expertise in rooms division management, front office operations, guest experience, service excellence, and hotel leadership.
Prior to this appointment, she served as Director of Rooms at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, where she oversaw rooms operations at one of Malaysia’s leading luxury hotels. Before joining The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, she held the same position at The Westin Kuala Lumpur and previously served as Assistant Director of Rooms with Langham Hospitality Group in Shanghai. Her career also includes leadership roles with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in Shanghai, where she progressed from Assistant Front Office Manager to Front Office Manager and later Director of Front Office Operations, building a strong reputation for operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Khoo’s hospitality journey began in Malaysia with Sofitel Palm Resort before joining Westin Hotels & Resorts, where she advanced through several front office positions, including Guest Service Agent, Westin Host, Team Leader – Front Office, and Assistant Executive Club Floor Manager. She later joined Shangri-La Hotels Kuala Lumpur as Assistant Guest Relations Manager before continuing her growth with Sheraton in China, serving as Reception Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager. Her steady progression through operational and leadership roles reflects a career built on service excellence, people development, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality operations.
