Curtis joins Hilton Woodland Hills following her tenure as Opening Director of Sales and Marketing at Hotel Clark in Downtown Los Angeles, where she served from December 2025 to August 2026. In this role, she led the pre-opening sales, marketing, catering and commercial strategy for the 348-room independent upper-upscale lifestyle hotel.

Earlier, Curtis held the position of Director of Entertainment Sales at Loews Hollywood Hotel from December 2019 to May 2023. During this period, she led entertainment and sports sales initiatives, developing relationships across the film, television, production, awards and entertainment sectors.
One of her notable achievements at Loews Hollywood was increasing entertainment-related revenue from approximately $1.9 million to more than $4 million through expanded studio partnerships and new business development. She also secured seven new studio agreements and exceeded annual sales goals for three consecutive years.
Curtis previously spent more than five years associated with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, where she served as Associate Director of Sales from October 2014 to July 2019 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her responsibilities included developing group and individual business travel accounts across entertainment, healthcare, technology and corporate markets.
She subsequently provided Hospitality Task Force Sales support for Kimpton properties from July to December 2019, contributing to negotiated transient account development, group business acquisition and targeted sales initiatives.
From May 2013 to July 2014, Curtis served as Associate Regional Director of Sales at Island Hospitality Management, where she managed sales strategies and key account relationships across a portfolio of Silicon Valley hotels. Her responsibilities included overseeing the portfolio’s top 20 global technology accounts, representing approximately $20 million in annual hotel sales, and supporting a regional team of six Sales Managers and two Sales Administrative Assistants.
Her earlier leadership experience includes serving as Senior Sales Manager at Villa Florence Hotel in San Francisco from August 2012 to April 2013, where she focused on entertainment, corporate and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) business.
Before that, Curtis worked with InterContinental Hotels Group as Complex Domestic Tour and Travel/SMERF Sales Manager for a two-hotel operation in the San Francisco Bay Area.
From January 2009 to April 2010, she served as Director of Sales at Campbell Lodging, supporting the pre-opening commercial strategy for Holiday Inn Express & Suites Merced. Her work involved establishing market positioning, developing corporate and group accounts, and supporting revenue management initiatives.
Curtis began building her hospitality management experience through operational roles, including Assistant Manager at The Culver Hotel and Beverly Terrace in Los Angeles and Assistant Manager at Holiday Inn Express Merced. These positions provided experience in hotel operations, revenue management, guest services, employee development and business development.
Throughout her career, Curtis has developed expertise in hotel commercial strategy, sales team leadership, entertainment and corporate accounts, pre-opening operations, revenue optimisation, strategic partnerships and brand positioning. Her experience across different hotel segments has enabled her to combine operational knowledge with commercial planning and measurable business development results.
Her appointment at Hilton Woodland Hills/Los Angeles comes as the property continues to strengthen its position within the San Fernando Valley hospitality market. With experience across both independent and internationally branded hotels, Curtis brings a strong commercial background to the property’s sales and marketing leadership.
