Daniel Moran has taken on the role of EAM – Director of Rooms at The Miami Beach EDITION, bringing extensive experience across rooms operations, front office, housekeeping, guest experience, and hotel services to his new position.
Moran joins The Miami Beach EDITION after more than four years with The Times Square EDITION in New York, where he most recently served as Director of Housekeeping. He previously held the position of Director of Front Office at the property, overseeing front office operations and contributing to the delivery of the guest experience.
Before his time at The Times Square EDITION, Moran spent more than four years with EDITION in New York. He joined as Manager of Guest Services in 2018 before progressing to Director of Guest Experience in 2020, gaining experience in guest relations, service delivery, and hotel operations.
Moran began his hospitality career at Parker New York, where he served as Front Office Supervisor, overseeing front office activities including rooming lists, billing, arrivals, amenities, inventory controls, and coordination with sales and reservations.
He subsequently joined Allied T Pro as Key Account Manager, where he managed client relationships, prepared presentations for senior executives, coordinated meetings and travel, and worked with budgets and profit margins.
Moran also gained experience in luxury travel and event management with Discover New York. As Event Manager, he designed and coordinated VIP luxury travel and private programmes for corporate and leisure clients, managed business relationships, supported sales activities, and represented the company at networking events and trade shows.
Prior to joining EDITION, Moran spent nearly eight years with Gansevoort Hotel Group as Guest Services Manager. His responsibilities included coordinating the bell staff, managing group arrivals and departures, developing relationships with repeat guests, handling guest requests, and representing the hotel group at industry events.
Across his career, Moran has developed broad expertise spanning front office operations, housekeeping, guest experience, guest services, luxury travel, team leadership, and client relations. His progression through operational and guest-facing leadership roles positions him well for his new responsibilities as EAM – Director of Rooms at The Miami Beach EDITION.
