Edward Hobson Appointed Senior Vice President, Global Sales at Kempinski Hotels
Hobson brings extensive global experience in sales, marketing, and commercial strategy within the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Kempinski Hotels, he served as Vice President, Sales & Marketing (International excluding China) at Langham Hospitality Group, where he led international sales strategies and market expansion initiatives.
He previously held the role of Vice President, Sales at Langham Hospitality Group, further strengthening global commercial performance across key markets. His career also includes leadership positions such as Global Commercial Director – Aerotel at Plaza Premium Group and Assistant Vice President, Sales at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.
Earlier in his career, Hobson served as Director of Sales & Marketing with both Langham Hospitality Group and Accor in London, building a strong foundation in international hospitality sales and brand positioning.
His appointment reflects Kempinski Hotels’ continued focus on strengthening its global sales leadership to drive growth, expand market presence, and enhance commercial performance across its luxury portfolio.
