Evan L. Altman has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations at Auberge Resorts Collection.
With more than two decades of hospitality leadership experience, Altman has built an outstanding career across luxury lifestyle hotels, boutique properties, and resort operations, bringing extensive expertise in hotel management, operational strategy, commercial performance, and luxury guest experiences.
Prior to this promotion, Altman served as Senior Vice President, Operations – The Americas at Auberge Resorts Collection, where he provided strategic oversight for the company’s growing portfolio of luxury properties across the region. His leadership has focused on operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and strengthening the performance of Auberge’s award-winning collection of hotels and resorts.
Before joining Auberge Resorts Collection, Altman served as Senior Vice President, Lifestyle Hotels at Highgate. He also held dual leadership roles with Sydell Group as Senior Director of East Coast Operations and Managing Director for NoMad Hotels, overseeing luxury lifestyle hotel operations and supporting portfolio growth. Earlier, he co-founded MATERIAL Hospitality while simultaneously serving as Managing Director of The Williamsburg Hotel, demonstrating his entrepreneurial approach to hospitality development and management.
Altman’s hospitality journey includes General Manager positions at The Standard, High Line, The Standard East Village, and The Cooper Square Hotel, where he progressed from Director of Sales & Marketing to General Manager. His early career was built through commercial leadership roles at Gramercy Park Hotel and W Hotels, developing a strong foundation in sales, marketing, revenue generation, and guest engagement. His steady progression from sales management to executive operations leadership reflects a career defined by innovation, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to luxury hospitality.
