Kai Winkler Appointed General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh
Kai Winkler has been appointed as General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, part of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Winkler brings extensive international experience in luxury hospitality, having led large-scale resort and city hotel operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. In his new role, he oversees a landmark Red Sea resort spanning over one million square meters, featuring 440 keys including hotel rooms, residences, villas, and chalets, along with multiple dining venues and large-scale event facilities.
Prior to this appointment, he served as General Manager at Fairmont St Andrews under Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, where he led operations at a premier golf and leisure destination. His earlier roles include General Manager positions at Fairmont Moscow, Fairmont The Palm Dubai, and Fairmont Quasar Istanbul, where he managed pre-opening projects, brand positioning, and operational excellence across diverse markets.
Winkler has also held senior leadership roles with Kempinski Hotels, managing flagship properties and leading multi-property operations, further strengthening his expertise in luxury resort management and large-scale hospitality operations.
His appointment reflects Four Seasons’ continued focus on experienced leadership to manage complex, high-end resort destinations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
