Mazen Allam has been appointed as Area General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh and The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah.
With more than 25 years of luxury hospitality experience, Allam has built an outstanding career spanning hotel operations, commercial leadership, guest experience, and executive management across some of the region’s most prestigious luxury hotels.
Prior to this appointment, Allam served as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh, where he led the hotel’s overall operations, business strategy, financial performance, and guest experience while overseeing a large workforce and driving operational excellence. His leadership focused on achieving commercial growth, strengthening stakeholder relationships, developing high-performing teams, and maintaining the exceptional service standards synonymous with The Ritz-Carlton brand.
Before joining Marriott International, Allam spent more than 12 years with Rosewood Hotel Group, progressing through a series of senior leadership positions including Managing Director, General Manager, Hotel Manager, Assistant Executive Manager, and Director of Sales & Marketing at Rosewood Jeddah. During this period, he played a key role in business growth, operational transformation, commercial strategy, talent development, and enhancing guest satisfaction at one of Saudi Arabia’s leading luxury hotels.
Earlier in his career, Allam spent over a decade with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, advancing from Reception & Guest Relations to Front Desk Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, Front Office Manager, and Assistant Director of Sales. These progressive roles provided a strong operational and commercial foundation, helping shape his leadership style and deep understanding of luxury hospitality. His career reflects a consistent commitment to operational excellence, strategic growth, and developing high-performing teams while delivering memorable guest experiences.
