Nicolas Senes has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake.
With more than two decades of international luxury hospitality experience, Senes has built an impressive career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, developing expertise across food and beverage operations, resort management, luxury guest experiences, and hotel leadership in Asia and Europe.
Prior to this appointment, Senes served as Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Bali, where he oversaw resort operations and guest experience at one of the brand’s flagship luxury resorts. Before that, he held the position of Director of Food & Beverage at the same property after previously serving as Director of Food & Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai. Earlier, he was Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou, further strengthening his operational leadership across the group’s luxury portfolio.
His earlier career also includes serving as Basilico Restaurant Manager and Beverage Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, Restaurant Manager at Fairmont Singapore, and a series of progressive food and beverage leadership roles at Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche in France, including Banquets, Room Service and Pool Manager, Restaurant, Bar and Pool Manager, Banquet Manager & F&B Training Manager, Assistant Manager Room Service, and Assistant Manager Stewarding. He began his hospitality journey through management training with Hôtel de Crillon in Paris and The Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, complemented by early operational experience in France.
Throughout his career, Senes has demonstrated a passion for operational excellence, culinary innovation, and luxury service, progressing from operational management roles to executive leadership within one of the world’s most respected hospitality brands. His international experience across France, Singapore, China, and Indonesia has equipped him with a well-rounded perspective on luxury hotel management and guest experience.
