The St. Regis Red Sea Resort has appointed Aidan Dempsey as its new General Manager
Dempsey brings extensive international experience in luxury hospitality, with a career spanning over a decade with Marriott International across Europe and the Middle East. In his new role, he will oversee operations at The St. Regis Red Sea Resort, a private island luxury destination in Saudi Arabia featuring overwater and beachfront villas, signature St. Regis Butler service, and immersive marine and wellness experiences.
Prior to this appointment, he served as General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert, where he led operations at a high-end all-villa desert resort known for its nature-based experiences and luxury offerings. He also previously held the role of General Manager at Hotel Bristol, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Warsaw, managing one of the city’s landmark heritage properties.
His earlier experience includes serving as Complex General Manager for Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments in Dubai Investment Park, as well as Hotel Manager roles at The Ritz-Carlton Dubai, JBR, and The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin. He began his career in rooms division operations with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Marriott International, building a strong foundation in guest experience and hotel operations.
His appointment reflects the continued focus on experienced leadership to support the development of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea destination, one of the region’s most ambitious tourism projects.
