First Hospitality has appointed David Lang as Regional Vice President of Operations, Full Service + Lifestyle Hotels.
Bringing nearly three decades of hospitality leadership experience, Lang has built an impressive career spanning luxury resorts, lifestyle hotels, and full-service properties, with expertise in hotel operations, development, asset performance, team leadership, and guest experience.
Prior to joining First Hospitality, Lang served as Vice President of Operations at New Waterloo, where he oversaw a portfolio of lifestyle hospitality assets and led operational strategy across the company’s growing collection of hotels. During his six-year tenure with New Waterloo, he also held the positions of Director of Hotel Development and Director of Hotel Operations, playing a key role in operational excellence, hotel expansion, and strategic growth initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Lang served as General Manager of The LINE Austin with Sydell Group and previously led The Redbury at Hollywood & Vine as General Manager with SBE Entertainment. His leadership portfolio also includes General Manager roles with OLS Hotels & Resorts, where he oversaw Le Montrose Suite Hotel and Chamberlain West Hollywood, as well as senior operational positions with Joie de Vivre Hospitality, including Acting General Manager and Director of Rooms at Hotel Angeleno and Front Office Manager at Hotel Vitale. He also served as Director of Rooms at Hotel Oceana with JRK Hotel Group.
Lang began his hospitality career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where he spent nearly nine years progressing through rooms division leadership roles at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea and Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. From front office operations to executive leadership, his career reflects a consistent progression built on operational excellence, people development, and delivering exceptional guest experiences across some of the hospitality industry’s most respected brands.
