Park Hyatt Dubai will temporarily close from May 2026 as it enters the final phase of its renovation programme, in a move that will see one of Dubai’s best-known luxury hotels pause operations.
The Dubai Creek property said the closure forms part of its long-term enhancement journey and comes under a new campaign, Perfecting Elegance, which reflects the hotel’s focus on refinement, craftsmanship and hospitality.
According to the hotel, the planned closure from May marks the final phase of renovation, with further details on the reopening timeline to be revealed later this year.
“At Park Hyatt Dubai, our focus has always been on creating meaningful, refined experiences for our guests,” said Ersev Demiroz, general manager of Park Hyatt Dubai. “This next and final phase of our renovation has been carefully planned over time, allowing us to enhance and elevate the experience while staying true to what makes the property so special. Perfecting Elegance reflects this ongoing commitment, celebrating who we are today, while shaping what comes next.”
The closure adds to a growing list of high-profile hotel refurbishment projects in Dubai, as operators continue to invest in established assets.
It follows Jumeirah Burj Al Arab’s newly announced phased restoration programme, which is expected to run for around 18 months, as well as the enhancement programme at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai. In the latter case, all 1,608 rooms and suites, alongside several restaurants, are being redesigned, although the hotel will remain open during the works.
