The Doyle Collection has announced the appointment of Katie Farrell as its new Chief Commercial Officer, marking a significant milestone in her hospitality career. With nearly two decades of experience in luxury hotel sales and commercial leadership, Farrell steps into the executive role after an outstanding tenure within The Doyle Collection.
Farrell has been part of The Doyle Collection for more than 11 years, most recently serving as Director of Sales at The Westbury Dublin. During her time in this role, she played a key part in strengthening the hotel’s commercial performance, building strategic client relationships, and driving sales initiatives that reinforced The Westbury’s position as one of Dublin’s leading luxury hotels. Her leadership and deep understanding of the luxury hospitality market have contributed significantly to the property’s continued success.
Prior to joining The Doyle Collection, Farrell spent nearly seven years as Sales Manager at The Merrion Hotel, Dublin. In this position, she developed extensive expertise in luxury hotel sales, corporate partnerships, and business development while working with one of Ireland’s most prestigious five-star hotels. The experience provided a strong foundation for her continued progression into senior commercial leadership.
Throughout her career, Farrell has established a reputation for delivering commercial growth, cultivating long-term client relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams. Her extensive experience across Dublin’s luxury hospitality sector, combined with her deep knowledge of The Doyle Collection’s portfolio and brand values, positions her well to lead the group’s commercial strategy.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Farrell will oversee the company’s commercial direction, supporting business growth, revenue performance, and market positioning across The Doyle Collection’s collection of luxury hotels.
