Aman Group has appointed Victor Clavell as its new Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than three decades of international luxury hospitality leadership to one of the world’s most prestigious luxury hospitality and lifestyle brands. Throughout his distinguished career, Clavell has led global operations, luxury brand expansion, and multi-property portfolios across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and the Caribbean.
Clavell joins Aman after serving as Chief Executive Officer of The PuLi, where he led the renowned luxury hospitality brand from August 2024 until June 2026. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Operations, EMEAC at Rosewood Hotel Group, overseeing operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Caribbean while driving operational excellence and supporting the group’s continued international growth.
Earlier, Clavell served as Chief Operating Officer of AMAALA, the ultra-luxury regenerative tourism destination in Saudi Arabia, where he played a key role in developing one of the Kingdom’s flagship luxury tourism projects. Before AMAALA, he spent nearly four years as Vice President, Luxury, Asia-Pacific (excluding Greater China) and Asia-Pacific Bulgari Hotels & Resorts at Marriott International. In this role, he provided strategic leadership for an extensive portfolio of luxury brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, EDITION, W Hotels, and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, overseeing approximately 60 hotels operating or under development across the region.
A significant part of Clavell’s career was spent with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he dedicated nearly 25 years in progressively senior leadership roles. As Area Vice President for Asia Pacific, he oversaw The Ritz-Carlton, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, and EDITION Hotels across the region, managing a portfolio generating more than US$1 billion in annual revenue while supporting the development of numerous new luxury properties. Earlier, he served as Regional Vice President Europe while also leading Hotel Arts Barcelona as General Manager, following more than a decade of operational leadership positions within the company.
With extensive expertise spanning luxury hotel operations, executive leadership, brand development, multi-property management, and international expansion, Victor Clavell has built an exceptional career across many of the hospitality industry’s most respected organizations. His appointment as Chief Operating Officer marks an important step in Aman Group’s continued global growth and commitment to delivering world-class luxury experiences.
